Every indian must have heard about the famous train robbery ''kakori'' which was executed by the members of Hindustan republic association. Kakori is a small town near lucknow where the robbery was conceived by Ram Prasad Bismil and Ashfaqullah khan on 9th August, 1925 during the indian independence movement against the British Raj.

After this incident, British government arrested several freedom fighters, of whom seventeen were jailed, four transported for life and four - Ram prasad Bismil, Roshan Singh, Rajendra Lahiri and Ashfaqulla Khan were hanged. The train robbery was the direct and impactful battle. It was a great heroic act to chalange the british empire.

The book is well researched, i liked how it is written from the perspective of Ram Prasad Bismil. The author has done an excellent work of portraying the brave and unforgettable characters who put everything behind for the the love of their country. I would suggest this book to everyone to feel proud and humble towards the sacrifices of our great freedom fighters.
