✨ANDAMAN✨

AUTHOR - Ratnadip Acharya
PUBLISHER - Aksora publications
FORMAT - Paperback
LENGTH - 443 Pages
RATING - 5/5

''Andaman'' by Ratnadip Acharya is a historical fiction. The story is set in two different timelines - 1911 CE and 2004 CE on the Andaman and Nicobar islands in the bay of bengal. The story revolves around the protagonist Andaman who unravels the mystery and hidden secrets in the walls of cellular jail.

In 1912 CE, during the time of swadesi movements, a priest witnessed the tortures on political prisoners by jail authority. He makes an escape plan and carves certain symbols on the walls so that someone might understand his story someday. These are the same symbols that Andaman has seen before. Is there any connection between the two events spread over centuries? To know you have to read this mysterious book.

The book is very well written and I had a delightful experience reading it which gave me a quite knowledge about the cellular jail. Exact dates and locations are provided by the author in each chapter. I felt so bad for the prisoners. I want to thank the author for providing this masterpiece and would recommend it to every reader to know our history and the sacrifices of our people.
