A town under the lake : submerged and rehabilitated by Abhudita is an educational as well as insightful book which reflects the history of a beautiful hilly town of Himachal Pradesh, 'Bilasupur'.  'This book briefly describes Pre historic, Historic and New age Bilaspur.

The author has narrated everything in detail like it's Houses, Temples, Rivers, Culture, Vedas and how Bilaspur Got submerged by water of Bhakra Dam and a new town got rehabilitated above the old town.  The author has really done a great job with this book, through this book I got to know many things related to the beautiful town.

It's a nice, short and informative read about 50 pages which contains beautiful pictures too of the town and it's culture & history.  Cover of the book is simply pretty and the language used was simple and lucid.  Overall, it was a unique read.  History lovers should definitely read this book to know about our culture and heritage.
